Paul Bertelli, Design Principal, joined forces with founder, Jonathan Foote, in 1979. Paul studied architecture at Boston Architectural Center and Montana State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture in 1999. After working with Jonathan for 20 years, Paul established his own reputation as one of the region's most gifted designers.


Dick Storbo, Principal, has worked at JLF & Associates since 1994. Dick earned a Bachelor of Architecture in 1984. Dick is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is NCARB certified. He holds a license in several states. Dick's proven leadership and commitment to excellence have resulted in a team of talented individuals who provide a level of client services not found at other architectural firms.


Logan Leachman, Principal, came to work with JLF & Associates in 1992. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture Technology from Western Kentucky University in 1989. Logan has a strong technical expertise in construction. His exceptional project management and problem-solving abilities assure quality control and successful projects.


Tammy Hauer, Principal & CFO, began working for Jonathan Foote in 1987. She earned her Project Management Certification from the University of Phoenix. Tammy is a professional member of the American Institute of Architects and the Society of Design Administration. She is an assiduous business and human resources manager, exploring growth opportunities for the firm and our employees.


John Lauman, Senior Associate, has been with JLF & Associates since 1997. John is a licensed architect, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and is NCARB certified. He received his Masters of Architecture from Montana State University School of Architecture. John uses his years of experience to lead his clients and junior staff through the design process.


Jake Scott, Associate, has worked with JLF & Associates since 1999. Jake is a licensed architect in the State of Montana, and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He graduated from Montana State University of Architecture in 1998 with a Masters of Architecture. His commitment to his clients and the firm is exceptional.


Christa Gertiser, Associate, has worked at JLF since 2000. Christa, a licensed architect, graduated with a Masters in Architecture from Montana State University. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects, is NCARB certified, and is a LEED accredited professional. Her upbringing in Europe gives Christa an innate feel for simple elegance, which is combined with a spatial awareness that is permeated by a sense of practicality.


Ashley Sullivan, Associate, has worked with JLF & Associates since 2003. Ashley received her Bachelor of Architecture from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. She is a member of the American Institute of Architects and is NCARB certified. Ashley has her architecture license in the states of Montana and Tennessee. Ashley is a natural leader; she uses her business and project management skills not only at the firm but also in local philanthropic organizations.


Keith Anderson, Senior Design Architect, teamed up with JLF in 2010. He is a licensed architect in the States of Montana and Vermont. Keith received his Masters in Architecture from Montana State University in 1983. His work as an architect, professor of architecture & painter calls him to embrace a broadly defined understanding of space and the creation of place.


Jonathan Foote is the founder of JLF & Associates. He graduated from Yale University School of Architecture in 1964, and practiced for more than fifteen years in New Haven, Connecticut, where he worked with major institutional and commercial clients. In 1979, Jonathan moved his architectural practice to Livingston, Montana. Jonathan is retired from JLF & Associates, but still enjoys design consulting.
