Foote and Associates, Inc. retired in 2000 when he sold the firm to then Senior Associate Paul Bertelli, Associates Logan Leachman and Dick Storbo, and CFO Tammy Hauer. Paul, Logan, Dick and Tammy have continued developing the fundamental principals started by Jonathan in 1979 when he and Paul Bertelli began working together in Livingston, Montana. Between 2000 and 2010 the partners grew the firm to a nationally recognized design firm which employs 25 architects, design associates and support staff. At the end of 2010 Dick Storbo retired at which time the remaining partners invited Ashley Sullivan to join the partnership.
Jonathan’s sale of the firm and departure allowed the firm to focus on innovative design solutions through our “ design build process” We continue to be pioneers in the use of reclaimed materials the origins of which come from our work with restorations of classic ranch projects throughout the region. Our unique work continues to be influenced by these historic values. Our clients continue pushing us to refine our process and use of reclaimed and contemporary materials. We employ old world craftsmanship in our structures and, in the process glorify their place in the landscape. Throughout our work we demonstrate an appreciation of history, honesty in materials, love of the west and an understanding of how buildings become one with the land.
Jonathan L. Foote & Associates, inc. takes on 15-25 residential and light commercial Design Build projects per year across the country. Jonathan L. Foote and Associates takes each client through a tailored design build process that integrates the architecture and design with cost and schedule control, and high quality standards.
Our work has been featured in many national publications including Architectural Digest, Big Sky Journal, Cowboys and Indians, Veranda, and Western Interiors and Design.
